i been watching gto for about 3-4 weeks know and almost every episode i felt i learned something and it kinda made me think. has any body every felt like that when watching any kind of anime.

Yeah i get that feeling sometimes ... like when i watch some animes ... it makes me think of a certain situation at a different angle that i would have never really though of ... sometimes i figure things out about something that happened in an episode like eva and im soo happy that i figured out that part and things clear up a bit ... 8)

Watching DBZ taught me that dropping two atomic bombs on Japan might have had a negative effect on their creative processes.

I watch anime purely for its entertaiment value, an escape from reality for a while...afterall thats what animation was originally meant for.
But, if an anime gives some deep insight into aspects of life, then i embrace it.
I refrain from devaluing anime that does not aim to teach us something.....they are all worthy of my viewing pleasure.
