Macross Flashback 2012 - An Angel's Paint
Performed by: Mari Iijima Editor: Shoji Kawamori
Notes: The first AMV I ever saw at the end of the the the 30 minute video collection. Also coincided with the irst anime club meeting i ever attended and a very pretty girl I liked seeing there and some great friends I made there. So yeah, fond firsts and memories from St. Louis, and that's not even counting that one of my all time favorite animators and singers collaborated on an exquisite piece for Macross and music fans all around.
Wait a minute, Shoji Kaawamori (creator of Macross) *made* a music video? Like didn't just conceptualize or storyboard, but actually edited? Wow! That gives him even more respect points in my book (although he already earned his share for Macross and Escaflowne :)).

I may need to talk to Patrick about getting a copy.

I got the original VHS video tape of it... Bought it way back in the 80s when it actually came out : :)

I like it too.

It's a promo for a new show coming from Sav! The World Productions. From the credits:
"Music by Ayumi Hamasaki
taken from ayu's EURO MEGA-MIX "Y&Co.Mix"
on the CD extra of the album LOVEppears"

BTW, a friend of mine emailed them recently, and they wrote back:
- Molly Star Racer will be originally recorded in English AND French. There are plans for North American distribution but they couldn't disclose anything about it as of yet. It will be airing in France and Japan near the end of 2005.

I must say that ever since I've taken a liking to AMV's I've always been willing to watch them...For worst AMV I'd have to say, just about every DBZ amv...there have only been two AMV's that I have somewhat liked and those were

DBZ
Linkin Park
With you
By Otaku

and

DBZ
Insomia
Magadeath
By NKode

And my favorite was once again

Street Fighter 2
Won't lie down
Face 2 Face
By Otaku

I also like the When worlds collide video by Aluminum Studios, and the Pairiste Eve video done by Auron from NKode. :D

When Worlds Collide = shameless lip AND lyric sync !!!1!!ELEVEN!

SUPER CHEESY!

Yes, the wolf does talk in Mononoke Hime. However, it doesn't wquite like that.

Audio: "This is what happens when worlds collide"
Video: Wolf > *lips move!*

Great theme and delivery, though; the conflict of nature and man, represented by the war, is portrayed accurately in the video.

Damn, that promo did look pretty cool. We watched it about three times just for that pirate guy alone

Well, I'm fairly certain he did it. Kawamori directed the Macross: Do You Rememer Love movie and An Angel's Paint is done very much in that style, so I believe it's his work too.

Cool. Thanks for the info. I wanted to go back and bold Molly, but there's no edit feature on here. Also, I honeastly had no idea who made the video or anything. Thanks again. ^^

I'm sorry, but I would've never posted something like this before today. Now I've seen many awesome videos, but not too many bad ones. That is, until today. Where I was blown away by the awfullness of this video. It completely butchers cowbow bebep, outlaw star, and the opening theme to bebop: Tank! And just because it was made using windows movie maker isn't an excuse. There are good vids made using this beast.

Now, like I said, I would never have thought myself capable of posting up the worst vid I've seen, (unless it was mine, and my first few were complete crap, I gaurentee it) And what's worse is that I'm sure there are worst vids out there . . . but come on! Why do people even make vids tha . . . sorry, I'm rambling like I usually do. Here's the link if anyone wants to actually see this terrible vid, here it is, and its only 5 MB . . . so it takes very, very little time to download.

THe worst videos arent always the ones that just suck on there own. The worst videos are the ones that arent to great, you opp them when the person asks for any opps. Then decides to get revenge on you by giving an opp not with all ones, but nearly all ones so it's not void. Those types of videos are the worst.
