Animenation has so import dvds, albeit very limited selection.

But yeah, Cd Japan is where I'd go, unless you read Japanese, you might be able to get something off www.amazon.co.jp

$50 bucks for two eps? Yep I believe ya. but, I heard somewhere (travel channel i think?) that the Japanese have lots of disposable income. (probably cause they work their asses off)

I was under the impression that they are still in an economic recession.

CDJapan is excellent, but the shipping costs are obscene. I've been getting my Ghibli through http://www.animecornerstore.com, which has comparable (but somewhat higher) prices and much cheaper shipping.

this is the best i have found so far http://www.animekrazy.com/you can get eps 39-50 of Naruto for 10 bucks. thats pretty damn good IMO
