Someday's Dreamers
Anybody ever heard of this series? I checked out a few screenshots, and it looks interesting.

I've seen a few eps; when it stopped they hadn't really gotten into the serious plot stuff, but nevertheless it was quite enjoyable.

In the near future, magic and magic users are revealed to the world to be very real. In order to avoid persicution, magic users agree to be licensed and undergo training and apprenticeships before they are allowed to use magic. Magic users can be hired out to help people solve problems, and for the most part, people are quite accepting of magic in the world.
The story revolves around a young girl raised in the countryside of Japan who comes to Tokyo to complete her apprentiship and recieve her magic users license. She's something of a hick, and awkward when it comes to most social situations, especially when it comes to her certainity about how she should be using magic to help people.
Someday's Dreamers has a very weak central plot, and can be best described as a "day in the life of" kind of program. Situations arise and are solved, the character's go through various crisis, etc. Don't expect any radical departure of theme from the rather passive and whimsical nature of the first episode. Never is the earth threatened with catastrophy, nor are the characters ever put into any truly life threatening situations. Someday's Dreamer's is short, and the ending of the series is in someways a let down as it leaves itself wide open for continuation. Someday's Dreamers is a gentle coming of age story with magic thrown in to add a bit of a twist and uniqueness to the story and it works. The characters are likeable, but not remarkable, coming across as representations of real people, and not anime charactitures.

i dont know i read about it on the site and it says that everything is normal with present day devices and vehicles only there is a mage, magic ring full of peoople liscenced and (illegaly) un-liscenced performing magic across the world.
i cant visualise it in my head , even though its probably really good,
i might buy it . it kinda reminds me of a crossover between tenchi in tokyo, cardcaptors and Drakan :order of the flame ( nice game, story goes f*cking nowhere) but all this could really make a decent anime . if any one has seen it say so! and i recommend to anyone who like tenchi or sitcom animes like that to go on the official homepage (above)

"Someday's Dreamers?"
What's wrong with calling it Mahotsukai ni Taisetsuna Koto?
I'd like to see it though, because I read about it in Newtype USA and it sounds good.
