AVI demultiplexing

Post by DJ_Izumi » Tue Nov 11, 2003 8:43 am

I'm not even sure if demultiplexing is the right word to use with AVIs, I know it's what you use for Mpeg streams. Oh well. I have an AVI file, and I would like to seperate the video file from the audio file. Vdub can only save the audio as a wave, but this audio is an AC-3 stream, I want to keep it as an AC-3 stream, so how do I simple extract one stream?

Get virtualdubmod. It has a button to demux the audio.
