This is a full listing of entries from the program. Note that the categories were as listed on the ballot (the mistake is Nekocon's, not mine).
I voted for Hindi Sad Diamonds in the first (should have been action/humor) category, which won 1st place. I think Vanilla Vash was my 2nd choice in the first catergory, above Ghibli Dance. The Gawl also diserves mention as one of the better AMV trailers I have seen. And one vid (#6 maybe?) needed to be de-interlaced to get rid of the lines; too bad, it looked promising. A lot of stong vids here.
The winner in the 2nd category (should have been romance/drama) was also my vote for the category, The Space Between. In my opinion it was the best AMV shown at Nekocon. I even stayed Sunday to watch Voices of a Distant Star. That thing is short as hell! Again I would have picked the 3rd place AMV to place 2nd, but maybe that is cause I am not much of a Love Hina fan. I also liked Goodbye Blue Sky, it was very well done but I don't think people are going to vote for such a depressing vid. Also, it was disapointing to see three Lunar SSSC vids showing, not because they were poor quality but because they ran into that blending effect that happens whenever so many vids to the same footage show at once.

If you were running for President of the Uninted States wouldn't you vote? You should have voted for yourself, or if you thought another vid in your same catagory was that much better, vote for them. If you can't bring yourself to do that, at least support the process by voting for a vid in the other catagory.I didn't know what to do with my ballot, I turned it in blank. Do you find that strange or funny or something?
The really strange and funny thing is that although I vote on the AMVs at every con I attend, I am not a registered US voter.
