how do i upload videos that arent mine

i have a bunch of amv's that are listed but arent available for download. how do i upload them so that others can enjoy them?

It's not proper to upload the videos under different username so, try to contact the creator first.

we used to be able to enter them in the proxy account
but Phade removed the account link... so i don't think we can enter videos that aren't our own anymore.

so u could try to contact the creators of the videos and ask them to set up an account and upload their videos to the org.

they are already members and have there videos listed i just want to let others be able to download them ill try contacting them though also.

Hey,

Here's the best method to upload someone else's video for them:

1. The original video creator must first be a member of the site.
2. The original video creator requests and gets the FTP upload information as if they were going to upload the video themselves.
3. The original video creator gives the FTP information to you.
4. You upload the video for them.
5. The original video creator checks the video upon upload completion.
6. If the video file is ok, the original video creator marks the file as "confirmed" and the video is available to the public.

What happens if the original creator can't be contacted or is unavailabe for the next year or so?

Hey,

As of now, I would really like to have the video creator's permission before uploading thier videos. There are the obvious exceptions of creators that are NEVER coming back, like Kevin Caldwell. Perhaps this policy will change in the future.
