Firewater- The Ponzi Scheme

Post by Chaos Angel » Wed Oct 29, 2003 7:40 pm

I picked this up for $3.99 in a used CD store here in town. Previously, I had only heard one song by this group, and it was on a different album. I decided to get this one just for the hell of it.

Good. Lord.

I loved every song on this album. Sweet Jesus, this whole album was a delicious treat for the ears.

If you haven't heard this album, or of this group, find it now. This is some good stuff.

I've heard only Anything At All, when EK posted it in her LJ. I've been meaning to check out more of their stuff, but never got around to it. Now that you've given it the  I've got to get some =O

Yeh, she's where I found out about them too. I was originally looking for the album with Anything at All on it, but they didn't have it, and Ponzi Scheme was cheap.

Definitely check them out.

Aren't there some members of Cop Shoot Cop involved? I loved Cop Shoot Cop. Never went out of my way to listen to Firewater however, even though we once were in the same city for 4 nights in a row on a tour back in 97.

I also could be thinking of another band, it's been so long.

According to their website (here), Tod A from Cop Shoot Cop founded Firewater.

The site has some stuffage to listen to from Man on the Burning Tightrope, their new album, and you might be able to find a track or two from Ponzi Scheme here...
