zooming help

Post by Bebop0083 » Thu Oct 23, 2003 11:33 pm

i dont know if this can be done but what im trying to do is get video track 2 over to the left side screen using the zooming effect so that it doesnt enterfer with the character talking. note: i have video track 2 using the rubberband technique. of what i gathered it cant be done since the transition timeline does not effect video track 2. only videos track 1a and 1b. is there any way around this?? i currently need that effect for a video im doing. help is greatly apprectiated. im using adobe premiere 6.5 btw.

Transform is your friend and like all friends you should use it whenever you need to.

It sounded to me like he was trying to move the clip to the left rather than actually zoom in. You could of course do that with motion settings but transform gives so much more control.

Is this "transform" a 6 thing? I'm using 5.1, and I don't see that option anywhere...

if you go under perspective under the video options then select transform. i have 6.0 and 6.5 but thats where it should be if you need the effect. as for it being in 5.0 i dont know.
