As for Detective Story, you could go clichè again and use Cowboy Bebop. Either that or Detective Conan, but I don't think it's coming out for a while in the US.

Does Bebop have Spike running from black suit clad men...? I never paid much attention to the series when I watched it like... two years ago. And if so, what episode should I look for?

No, but now that I think about "running from men in black suits," I think X might work. If I remember correctly, in YCSTR's Matrix: Reloaded trailers, there're scenes of Kaumi being chased by black suit clad men

Kamui doesn't have the detective look. If I was you I'd use Bebop, I'm sure theres footage of Spike running from suits somewhere in there. If you want him wasting suits try ep 5.

Bebop Episode 26... Jackpot. Found Bebop in my SVCD collection, whoot.

Man, woman, running from guys with guns, no problem. I'll have to mess with my filters for a while, trying to get that nice, crispy, B&W film noir feel that detective Story had now.

This is the same idea I was thinking of working on (Points to old topic ---> http://www.animemusicvideos.org/phpBB/v ... highlight= ). Although I probably wouldn't have even started on this project until things weren't so busy and I got a few other videos out of the way (probably around 2005), so I'm glad someone is making this video. Anyway, I at least still have another big trailer idea that I'm planning out. By the way, the working title I was thinking for this video was "What Is The Animatrix". Probably not the best title there is, but I thought it would fit, and if you like it, feel free to use it.

Anyway, for the World Record footage, my first instinct was to go with Escaflowne, since it's the only anime I remember having a track scene, but then I thought that there might not be much usable footage from just that one scene. I then figured would probably go with Battle Athletes (although I don't know very much about the series, it seems like it would have more track footage).

Well, I originally wanted to do it as the orgs first group trailer, 8 different creators for all 8 parts, getting to select which anime they use, but no one seemed interest. I've finally gathered all the necessary footage I need, and have started editing... well, started editing agian... Premiere crashed after I had the first 4 clips edited. Ha ha Me.
