I was wondering if there is any anime that is like rurouni kenshin, but the main character is a girl? Or something with a samurai girl.

Well Jubei-chan has a ninja girl. It has serious and comic moment like Kenshin........although there were a lot more comedic than serious.

uh..real bout highschool..though its not really all that good...but it does have Dave Lucas and Wendee Lee as the VA's on the dub...so its ok, mainly cuz of that --;

Tsukage Ran looked like a real Kenshin rip off to me for the character design and personality. I watched 2 eps of it at a con this year and she had almost the same voice as Kenshin...but she was actually a woman. Her side kick was like a buzzed up Misao...but that was just from two filler episodes. I have no idea if that series actually has an overall plot ^_~

It's interesting to see how she actually kills people, but there's just no blood.

However, it is a decent enough watch.
