Okay.. So this isn't exactly an ANIME music viedeo contest, but I thought you guys might want a heads up. Heres the scoop.

The band Ween has asked the fand in their forum to post a 30 second or so clip of what they would do for a video for their new single "Transdermal Celebration". They set the tentative due date for the 10th. As of yet, it seems there have been less that 10 submissions, most of them sub-par. The band has not responded yet, I am assuming for this reason.

I thought to myself... I like Ween, and want them to have a GOOD video for this song. So why not go to the experts? I have never made an AMV myself, but I have been following the community for years. I know one of you guys could rise to the challenge.

Oh yeah, and I wouldn't go flooding their forums with stuff, I don't want any of the ween fans to get mad at being crashed into... hopefully they won't mind a little competition, though.

Final Notes:

1- Be fair, check out the band a bit first. This contest is for fans.
2- Be fast. The unofficial "contest" date has ended. But it is unofficial. Throwing 30 seconds together in a day or two and put something in asap.
3- Uhm.. If you need any more reason to TRY... the "winner" will be paid cash money to do the full length official video. We're talking MTV here.

Hey Wonka, I checked out your vids.
I just want to say....
I haven't seen Brotherhood of the wolf.
I saw a trailer for it before it came out that made it look like a camp horror that knew it was camp horror.
I had friends that wanted to see it for martial arts action, and were soreley dissapointed.
The TV trailers just made it look dumb.

Your trailer makes me want to run out and buy it.

I guess I should put that on your site comment thingie, but I'll do that later.

Anyway, the AMVs were great, too. I hope you get a chance to enter something.
