What is the worst opinion you have ever given?

Good: The video was clear and fairly smooth. The music was definitely clear. The timing was good for the most part.

Bad: This looked a lot like the other Escaflowne-Yellow piece. The genre was pretty much the same, and so were a number of scenes. Also, it seemed like the first half was the romance between Van and Hitomi, while the second half was action scenes of Van. This took away from the overall direction of the video.

General: I didn't sense much different between this video and the other Escaflowne-Yellow video. Nonetheless, the video shows talent, and it looks like you put a good effort in.

all i did was complain about the unoriginality...

the lowest score i've given came out to a 3.33

when i first started to download vids localy i gave some sucky ones but my ops now are better then what they used to be.

i have given all 1's on a video but it was pointless_bob because hes a jackass cheater the lowest i given was like 5's because the video quality bad and so was the entire video worst i had ever seen.

That's hilarious, shinji. My good ops use more words, but they say essentially the same thing you just posted, ha. The benefits of higher level English courses. You learn to BS like a corporate man and use 453 pages to tell your client "yes, it works".

Ok peep's, picture the seen. I see a good creator has made a samurai X AMV. Its 70mb. I have 56k (dont laugh). I fall asleep waiting for this thing to download. I wake i up and its ready to play! With atsipation (sp?) i push play and im greeted with a poor atmept. :

Good = the intro was very pro, the style fits the mood and the idea behind this vid was very good, but.....

Bad = you used the old age effect from windows moive make, THE HOLE WAY THOUGH! Mabe if this anoiying thing had ended when the the intro fineshed then it would have been a very stylish AMV, but no, you hand to have it crakle its way from start to finish. Not to mention there was no timing of any kind, not even an ettemp, shame on you. I mean, your picture qualty was very bad, so why make it 70mb?!?!?!?

General = Mabe if you remove the old age effect, and time it a little, it might be a very good AMV, but untill that day this is very poor vid and a big disapointment.

Good: -Originality
-Great idea
-Good video/sound quality

Bad: -The resolution, but you warned me about that. However, for future reference, a great resolution is 640x368.
- Editing. There needs to me more of it. You just took the parts of the video you liked, and put them where you wanted with no match to the beats in the song. You let the scenes run through as they normally would have in the movie. Try synching with the beats next time. When I watched this AMV, it felt like I was watching the movie in a slightly different order without dialouge.
-Compression. The video file is probably very huge because you didn't compress the audio. WHen you're in Vdub, go to audio|full Processing mode|compression|LAME mp3.
I find that 148 Khz/s works fine, although I'm not sure if that's the best.

General: Overall, you got the low core because of the lack of editing.
You had a great Idea going there, but poor execution of the idea. You may want to try re-doing the whole video by syncing import parts of scenes to the beats, or cutting out unneeded parts in some scenes, such as the water bottle scene.

-the transitions, although overused, still kept the viewer's attention

Bad: Well, after I viewed this video, I decided that Midtown was not my favorite band. But that didn't stop me from trying to rate this video fairly.

I honestly cannot find anything wrong with it. After I watch it a few more hundred times, I may point something out like I did with your and Meri's "Redemption" video.

General: Great job on an over abused character profile. Sorry there isn't much to say, here. : \

It must have been cool giving your own piece of fanart to on of your favorite band's drummer!

I cannot, to this day, find ANYTHING wrong with this video editing-wise. It plagues me. It sickens me. I swear, I watch it all the time trying to find something wrong with it and I end up pulling my hair out.
VegettoEX, you are one hell of an editor that definetly deserves a lot more exposure.(Meri gets all the attention, huh? ¬¬)

Good Wow factor was quite good. *I haven't seen your previous version.*

Originality: First amv to this anime that i've seen.
Capture: Really "good," not looking like a vhs that went through a dish washer.
Sound: I'm biased to many songs.
Action/Sync: Plenty of well organized and sync'd scenes, no apparent missteps.
Lip Sync: None....oh well.
DE: They're everywhere, not overally done. Lots of flying windows, added artistic style.
Effort: No effort, you just up'd the resolution.
Overall: Me biased.
Reviewable: Will likely last long on my harddrive.

Bad Bads points = No apparent bad points.

Would've liked to see a giant kangaroo at the end though.

General I'm biased so my points iwll likely be distributed based on it.
