Temp Fix for PremirePro to make avs plugin work

Post by mckeed » Mon Sep 29, 2003 9:57 am

Here is the temporary avs fix which runs through the resizing code vs the 1:1 code. It should work for now, but not idealy. Please post to this thread with problems with this and the author will respond. Also post here if the server doesn't repond so I can fix that.

the code is by Ben Rudiak-Gould/Tom Ford, and Anime2Envy

Can the mods make this sticky for the timebeing until a permenant fix is made?

I forgot to mention that only 32-bit is working, if anyone needs 24-bit let me know I will see what I can do.

Well, it seems to work, but only if you have Visual C++ installed. Before I installed VC++ I was getting an error that "MSVCRTD.dll" was not found. Premiere Pro would go ahead and run but wouldn't let you open AVS files.

OK – I did some research on the web and found that if I recompiled the source code using “Build – Set Active Configuration – im_avisynth – Win32 Release”, it doesn’t seem to need the MSVCRTD.dll anymore. Here is a link to the recompiled plug-in

Just right-click and save target as!

OK, looked over the code and it seems totally fine.

As we expected, bit padding changes needed to be made.

If it works for people then it likely works as it should - very little code has been changed.

Thanks for looking into it McKeed - can't verify anything without an install to test but it looks fine from the code.
