Yea, well... you're right. Happens all the time.

So, the way I usually do things, is either start with no idea what I'm drawing or start with a vague idea and go more specific.

It's hit-and-miss, but generally works better than planning it all out and then seeing it suck. You have to be a real hardened artist to be able to transpose what you have in your head onto paper with a good degree of accuracy.

, you have your own style and I see your proportions working out since you started showing your art to the org...one of the reasons I love comics is for the great diversity of style and it's something people can respect

You don't suck as much as i do.

as for drawing technigues, i use my super-human powers to imprint an image onto a paper and then i trace.
