dude if they are really struggling for money then they should ad a few banner ads
this would solve many of their problems no pop ups just banner ads i have pledged money but have seen no improvments

And the 'improvement' that you see is the fact that you can upload videos to a standalone server, and download other people's from the same.

pledge? Don't you have to actually send the money before it can be applied?
If that's the way it works now, I am going to go pledge a nice south seas vacation at a travel agent.
Anyway, the donation is for the servers, not to pay for the site to be here. The general thought is, if you use the servers, please contribute so it can work...but you don't have to.
