Blue Gender ending WTF?!! [SPOILERS]

i do not understand the ending to Blue Gender. after he went inside that thing that was emiting light i was lost. i kinda understand the part with Second Earth. i guess every one went crazy and ending up killing each other. but the rest i dont understand.

It seemed to me that the light he went into was the manifestation of Gaia, the Earth Spirit thingy(technical term). It shared with him its emotions and thoughts and explored his thoughts and emotions. They seemed to learn from each other.

Or the Blue could have evolved beyond their physical bodies into a single consciousness and made first contact with Yuji.

As for the space station they have no purpose now and no longer have a common goal to bind them together. It has been said war is a perpetual state for man and that eventually he would destroy himself.

I was really suprised by the ending of BG. I was expecting Yugi to die at the end, but I guess I was wrong. As far as the ending goes, I think that Anlushac11 is right about the meaning of it.

i was expecting both yugi and and marleene to die. or just marleene. what a complete surprise.

Yeah, for quite a while I thought it would be Yuji (you sure it's not Yuji) that would unfortunately get it in the end, seeing as Blue Gender was totally dark from the beginning. Now that we've seen the series, I only wonder what the movie is going to be like, a little lighter maybe?

I liked the series, just a little bit too much death(YUNG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO)(goes into the show and slices off Yujis head for letting her die...MUAHAHAHAHA!!!!)
