Whats a good XP Theme Tweaker?
well, the subject line says it all: Whats a good tweaker for the theme settings of Windows XP? I'm getting sick of the blue, green and silver settings, because they're all so fucking boring.

Talisman 2 is the only one I could find on the net.
Go to Deviant Art, they've got all sorts of pre-made themes but it's up to you find the program. You can do a search by the program you need, so it's easier that way. They also have the progs listed in the software list, but a lot of the sites are down.

StyleXP - the only thing to go. Talisman is very slow, LiteStep is neat but you have to spend weeks to get your own theme working properly, and WindowBlinds is AFAIK only for 2000 and 98. Anyway you can get StyleXP from a link from www.themexp.org where all neat stuff about XP styling is found ^_^

Thanx. Now I can stave off my impending psychotic break precipitated by XPs droll themes.Aetherfukz wrote:StyleXP - the only thing to go. You know you can change XP's dumbassedness back to Win98+'s less stupid dumbassedness in display properties, right?
But I've used WindowsBlinds & Litestep. Litestep is nice, but I had to get accustomed to the default theme because every time stupid me tried to change themes, I damn near wrecked my system.

Umm, no? I want to stop myself going insane Via Microsofts droll themes, NOT go back to "Windows 98 looking" XP because I'm sick of that too. I just downloaded about 50 mb worth of themes, so I'm set for a little while.digital_monk wrote:You know you can change XP's dumbassedness back to Win98+'s less stupid dumbassedness in display properties, right?
