I sat in the basement the whole time reading with a flashlight.

Though I'd have to say the worst part of it was afterwards where I had to pick up all the stuff that had blown into our yard.

From what I heard since I'm in NY, we're going to get 5-10 in. of rain this Thursday, the day of our RIT Anime Club meeting. NOOOOOOO!

I'll risk getting soaking wet if I have to!

You guys are going to get soaked, and we endure another long month without rain. sucks, 'cause we need that rain for next year's crops, and you guys don't need anymore rain.

oh well, i hope you guys get boarded up good 'cause it'll be said not to see any of you log on again.

It was at 3:00 a.m for us. I sat in our living room (my cottage is one level) and watched the trees fall whenever the lightning struck. The funny thing was that all around our cottage was nailed and we had trees fall on our roof and the like but our badminton net and the shuttle cocks didn't even move!!! It was weird! All the way down to the lake (we're on a hill) was plastered with branches and the like. We had to go down to the marsh at the opposite end of the lake to reclaim our tubes and stuff.

That sucks... oh well I'm in australia so you dude pretty much have all the bad luck til I get there then I'd be joining in

You people take care dudes. I'll be praying for your... nah wait... not yours... Only my girlfriend's and my other girlfriend's safety ^_^. Open up all your windows, safe up your furniture with stablisers and hide!

It's gonna make landfall in NC/Virginia state line area (right where i am YAYohwait that sucks). But part of it might still hit Fla.
