Releasing thousands of farm raised mink into the wild in a misguided feel good attempt at "animal rights". Many have been rounded up again, many have died, but there are some out there still that will probably have a bad effect on the local small wildlife. Whoo, way to go, ALF fuckers!

Anyone else have stupid news they'd like to point out?

I'd like to know what they were hoping for when they decided to do this? This is like releasing those cows in China that are chained down so they can't move to make them tenderer. After a lifetime of not knowing how to walk, if someone were to release them, and expect them to survive, they should be crowned king of idiots. Same with the mink, they're to use to farmwife to adapt to the wild by now. As a result only other livestock is killed instead of something positive happening. If these activists really wanted to do the minks a favor they should take baby minks, who aren’t adapted to any life style and release them into the wild. Unless of course this would result in the wild minks not taking them into the group, leaving the babies to die. If so they shouldn’t bother because it is too late for these mink. They were born farm mink, lived farm mink and should die farm mink.
