Problem with audio/scratchy noise

Post by AznRAVEr1022 » Tue Aug 05, 2003 10:31 pm

So i have this danny elfman CD and i ripped a song off it using A&E's guide with EAC and all that. but when i play it back, i get this scratchy noise in the background. it probably wouldnt be noticable on a louder song but this particular one i ripped is a low-level song. when i listen to it off the cd its perfect with no extra noise, but when i rip it, it sux. i followed everything on the guides and didnt change anything in EAC. help anyone? thx

It could be some copy protection crap. Worst case: plug cd output from the cd player into your line in and record

when you say you didn't change anything in EAC.. that's not necessarily a good thing because you do need to set up EAC to work best with the drive you are using to rip.

Otherwise, I'm just not sure.

It's scratched?
Your drive can't do DAE?
EAC doesn't support your drive yet?
nil per os
