I normally don't like classic movies, but one of my favorite movies of all time is uber old-school.
Here it is.http://www.flipsidemovies.com/freaks.html
This movie was one of the first, maybe the first, movie to actually have the actors speak. (unlike OLD-OLD movies where their lips moved and a few seconds later a screen appeared to show what they were saying.)
I love this movie. A true classic. I highly reccomend it.

One of my favorites has to be "Twelve Angry Men." I don't know if anyone has seen it, but for those who haven't, it's about a jury who has to decide whether or not a teenage boy is guilty of murder (which would mean the death penelty). Despite overwhelming evidence, there is one juror who is not convinced of the boy's guilt. You can see it for yourself to find out the ending.
I've always liked how each juror has their own distinct personality and the way those personalities are always clashing. No two are alike.

Touch of Evil is a great film. It's one of the last films Orson Welles directed back in the '50s. Unfortunately, it was absolutely slaughtered when the production company re-editted it the way they wanted. However, two guys got their hands on the original "letter" Orson Welles sent to the producers, complaining how his film was so horribly disfigured, and got a copy of the deleted scenes from storage.
After a couple years of work, they released the film as close to it's original form as they could get, and it came out on DVD. This version of the film is the one you have to see! The film starts out with the GREATEST, LONGEST moving crane shot ever in cinema history!

The Third Man also is an excellent classic.
