I really enjoyed watching it, and its next on my list to pick up after flCl, The Paper kicked ass and she was so cute doing it too lol. Just wanted to hear some ops on how you enjoyed it or didn't enjoy it.

How would you rate it on a scale of 1-10(and why) cause I was thinking about getting the first dvd. I heard it was a good series but I need more opinions on it.

Honestly I would give it 8 and up, it reminded me of Giant Robo with the agents all having wicked powers. Its just me I love fantastic storys and this one was kind of smart the way it opened up and ended. If you like action, and wicked fights, with alittle bit of a good story this Anime is a no brainer.

Read or Die kicks much ass. I got to see the dub (prerelease, before they added text) at Anime Express 6. It was good, but there weren't enough people repeating "da pappar" over and over again like in original. But definitely purchase worthy all in all. And atleast they kept all 3 eps on the same disk, that was nice of them!

ROD is awesome. I just got the DVD, haven't watched it, but I loved the show when I saw it fansubbed.

Cool story, loved the character designs and art style.

Forgot to mention in my last post, that it's a 3 ep. OVA. That one disc is the whole thing.

There is going to be a TV series based in the same world, however, called Read or Dream, I believe. Supposed to air this fall, IIRC.

Wicked a show I wonder how high a level they could keep the animamation at, I loved ninja scroll but , I could care less for the t.v show

There's also the manga, to be realeased in 4 volumes, which tells of how DA PAPER got her powers, etc. It's one of those nice times when the anime and manga aren't nigh redundant.
