... leave it to the italians to do teh most retarded fucked up things ... i never even bothered reading teh article ... was there any real reason to ban poisonus insects? or was it just to take the peoples attention off of other issues ... if so, then i'd belive it ... italians tend to ahve a fairly short attention span when it comes to these matters, at least the ones in italy do.

Supposedly one of his homes had some spider problems. He's apparently scared of spiders, so everyone else in Italy has to suffer for it.

And if you had read the whole article, law was approved in Italy, not elsewhere in EU. And since when has EU wanted to unify the whole world under it's banner?

I did read the article.

If this is the kind of forward thinking leadership the EU is going to have, well, I don't see good things.

Irregardless of politics or nation, though, it's an amusing bit of stupidity, in my opinion.
