Ummm... that just clutters up the database with videos that may or may not be completed. And as for keeping track of ideas, I usually just make a folder in my AMVs-to-make folder that will hold the stuff when I get around to it. Rather like writing the idea down. On paper. With a pen or a pencil. You know... analog.

I don't list a video until it's "in the can". I think that's the best way to keep the database clean, and I dislike the notion of trying to "reserve" ideas by entering nonexistent videos.

There is also an assumption there that people always check the db to see if an idea's been done. I don't. If I want to make a video, I'm going to, and I really don't care whether or not it's been done before, unless I can remember a great vid using the song from my own memory.

I haven't even entered my NES track in the database yet, and it's finished. I'm trying to decide if I even want to yet, since we're not supposed to release track until the project premieres. I may just wait till then to enter it, so people aren't frustrated by the lack of a download.

Nope, never do that "soon to premiere" stuff.
I actually thought people would steal your idea if you put it up.
I mean, I was going to get in the habit of putting up "to be premeired" stuff, but the org hates me so it would always screw up when I didn't enter in a date.
Regardless, I don't do it now.. Probably never will... Because if I did, I'd have like 23 vids "Yet to premiere"... >.>

To keep ideas, I have a little book.
I only have one page left.
One page left for one more AMV idea...
..Until I run out of book. =\
Dude, it's like a 200 page book...
And I've only completed like 3 AMVs in that thing...
Must start working on trashing the book by completing AMVs....

I'm currently planning on making a video to Ana's Song by Silverchair (YES, I KNOW WHAT THE SONG IS REALLY ABOUT!). I'm just searching for a way to use footage in a metaphorical way.
