i have the program but ive never tried it. my friend has it and has made a bunch of vcds. ive seen them work in real dvd players.

I was just wondering about the new version.
I have the final version of the 5 series.
I'm just wondering what, if any imporvements have been made

Supposedly improvements to the burning engine, as well as an incredibly vast array of new add-ons, including a fully functioning (and well at that) DVD transcoder, a HE-AAC encoder (after waiting this long for HE-AAC, I'm not really impressed

), a bunch of other crap, an updated gui, and an mpeg 4 encoder coming sometime in '03 but not included yet.

I have the trial (mostly for the AAC), haven't burned anything yet.

and it doesn't use the ape, flac mpc or any of the other cool decoding plugins that I used with 5
