the login on this site is not working at all

I'm staring to hate that stupid login screen! In the forum loging in is no problem, loging in a the site goes with the special link (giving by an admin in another post with a guy with the same problem) but if i want to download something (and i'm cookied) he always says:
"Authentication failed. Please login again." If i make a mistake in my login data he says error, so I am 100 % sure I am givnig in the correct information. Now I would really like to download a movie! but thr login keeps stopping me! To the admins of this website: FIX this please!

Have you tried the "clear cookies and cache" trick? That usually works.

I had a similar problem. It seems I had accidently set the date on my computer a year ahead. Once I corrected the date problem went away.

That's been happening to my friend! I'm writing for her b/c she can't login to the forum. When we try to login to the site it works though. The year on my computer is fine...

ok i have only been on dis site for 2 days so i'm classicfied as *newbie* !

in the "login troubles" menu it says

* If you can still log into the forum but not the site, clear your browser cookies/cache. If you see a listing for following, you have not correctly cleared your cookies:
_COOKIE["cookie_user_id"]
_COOKIE["cookie_session_id"]

i check it shows i cleared my cookies......but i still can't get on !
