Anime to Video game... <-> Video Games to Anime??? Oh

For all we know, there are Animes that were made into Video Games. For example, Dragonball Z, and Orphen, etc.

Do you think that they should have stayed as they are?

Some Anime that are turned to Video games sucked, IMO, sad to say that...

And some Video games should have stayed as Video games and never continued the Anime.

I made a past Poll amongst my friends, it's about Comparison of same Genre of Anime and Video Game.

Ex.

Zone of the Enders » Almost 87% of my friends agreed that the Anime is not good but the Video game Rocks.

Orphen » 93% of my friends agreed that Orphen the Video game is a disappointment, while the Anime is good.

I like the .hack games. Those were pretty cool. The anime is awesome.

eh some ppl screw up. i heard there was an aniem for tales of destiny 2 but i've seen the drawings and eh...its not good.

I have played Z.O.E, but never saw the Anime just yet.

But from the criticism of my friends, it makes me wanna fuck it off and let it by itself.

The anime, they said, is just an example of a good disappointment.

I will agree that some animes turned game have sucked, and some games turned anime sucked. But there are the select few that actually make a good execution. Like the .hack games, or the anime Final Fantasy Unlimited (i'm probly the only person on here who likes that show

). One game though that I would like to see turned anime is Guilty Gear X. It would most definatly kick ass. And one anime I would like to see turned game is Hellsing. If they would make it similar to say... Gungrave, only longer, it would totally rule.

I still want to see them make Rockman X an anime.
They're still making the games so it's popularity is still there, up at X7 now.

GunGrave Game didn't caught my interest that well...

The anime is good though.

Another example is the Inuyasha fighting game, it didn't caught my attention as much as Gungrave....

On the otherhand, Hellsing? Game? That would be a nice piece of shit!

I saw a Vampire Hunter D game for Dreamcast I think or PSX, but it's not good.

Samurai X RPG game, I haven't seen the actual preview, I only saw the Screens but it didn't looked interesting.

Samurai X, and VHD, Vid games are still in Japanese.

Unfortunately, whereas Square has an interesting workforce in developing the FF games, the development for the FFU anime was either way understaffed or way underdeveloped. Seriously, if they wanted to make an animation that lasted that long (they were hoping for 52 episodes), they really should put more *substance* into it. *sigh* The old FF oav might not be better, but at least it was short and sweet to the point.

And about .hack, I believe .hack (the games and the anime) were created together. Hence, it was probably something like, they're developing these interesting ps2 games, and in order to create a fanbase, they are also going to create an animation and a whole world to go along with it.

I think one of the few good animes that came from video games is Kanon. It presents an interesting plot, and good characterization in just a half-length season, and doesn't require you to have played the game to enjoy it (unlike Tokimemo, etc)

The Pokemon anime was developped to promote the game. It's still one of the most succesfull anime's.
