mpeg encoding problems

ok i just completed a new video and when i started to encode it as usual into mpeg. like halfway during encoding session it said "Exceptional Error has occured" it keeps on doing that. i tried to encode it for 3 times by now. btw im using sonic video factory. what the hell is an exceptional error any ways. any help is appreciated.

TRy using another program like TMPEG or maybe encode to DivX or XviD with VirtualDub.

Also is your master a huffYUV or uncompressed file?
