New Tenchi OVA3 pics, plus OVA3 release date

Well, the release date is now official. The first episode of "Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki! 3rd OVA Series" will hit the streets of Japan on September 18th, and will be selling for 4,800 yen. Alone with the release date, they posted some nice, though small, images from the show.

Who is the teal haired lady in the middle of the top pic?

That, good sir, is the question Tenchi fans around the world are asking.

The most probable answer is that the lady you see is Noike, who was seen in episode 17 of Tenchi GXP when Seina visited Tenchi's house. Since GXP happens after OVA3, it's likely that Noike shows up as a new character at some point in the new OVA. However, though the looks and hair color in the pic is right for the Noike we saw in GXP, the hair style is a lot different. But who knows, she could have changed her hair between that pic and GXP episode 17.

We'll just have to wait and see.
