Anyway, I was never to reveal the source from which I got my contact info for the artists. I am working on releases now and hopefully will get them before broadcast. If it gets too "hairy" my producer is going to revert to showing the previews that are set to music in the majority of the animes to promote the companies (i.e. Manga, ADV, Pioneer, US Manga, etc.).
This doesn't seem to be so much of a 'Loop hole' in the legal system as it is a "We'll play your stuff without ur real name so it's HARDER to track and if we get caught,. we'll revert to something else and pretend not to be doing something illegal..."

(please note the use of the word Harder, meaning not entirely impossible)

sorry, as m uch as I want my shitty vids to be played for free, i'm a paranoid loser and don't think it's wise.

Dude, you know nothing of the entertainment industry. As far as im concernd your either lying your ass off or you just got the job somehow or your uunkle runs the show. The way you approached everyone was all wrong. You don't sit there and ask people for thier AMV's and when they ask a few questions you say "Screw you then". That is very unprofessional. You don't sound very legit, you plan on using loopholes, that you think might work, no real production company or studio or producer or organization would risk doing what you guys are sobosidly doing. Every one knows before venturing into any investment or contract you should get all the facts first, you say write me first then i'll tell you. I think true fans of anime and true AMV creators would not send you thier work, it would be betraying what they love and what they do. Tehy rather know their work is being showed legitimitly with the propper aproval. Apparently you don't respect what we do here, so we won't respect you back, so take your illegal little show, if you even have one, and go to school for braodcasting and go bug people who don't know any better then to not listen to your B.S. Leave the anime geeks alone , go bug the star trek kids or something, im sure thier more gullable then we are :).

Hey,

I agree that it may be "cool" to air amvs but very careful and think very very far ahead.

Legal ramifications of airing amvs and similar things will always always have unintended consequences and you, my friend, may have to pay to pay too big of a price for a service that would rather have been left alone underground.

that's my warning, but if you really do want to play with fire, just make sure your "backdoor" isn't blocked when you need it.

the "legal" world may not yet be ready for amvs.
