I believe the original description of Dracula was that dracula had a mustache and look really different from what culture has shown him as. How does this relate to Alucard, well spell Alucard backwards and you got Dracula. Atleast thats what I think.

Huh. I didn't figure Alucard was supposed to be THE Dracula. I mean, the fact that his name is Dracula backwards was pretty frikken obvious, but I figured it was a namesake type thing, like he's named after Dracula, not that he IS Dracula.
Well, that would explain why the cheap bitch won't stay dead.

Well Abraham Van Helsing was the original Vampire hunter in the novel, Dracula. While the anime is Hellsing, with the addition of an 'L', there is little doubt that there is a connection to Brahm Stoker's Van Helsing.
It is never explained in the anime how Alucard comes into the service of the Hellsing family. However, it might be that the original Van Helsing somehow managed to force or bind Dracula, who was pretty much near death at the end of the novel, into his and his decendents' service. Dracula then changed his name to Alucard...
...but this is me speculating off the top of my head...

Dracula, Vlad the Impaler, it's all the same...
Alucard does say during his first encounter with Incognito that, "My name is a bit of an anagram itself." Well, that's in the sub anyway; he says 'mystery' rather than 'anagram' in the dub, if I remember correctly.

Everyone is not the same as you.
Get over it.
And lighten up.
