MAKE MUSIC VIDEO BY DOWNLOADING STUFF HERE? I just want a yes or no people! Yes Im crazy but just answer this one question

Im new to this site and there's so many stuff that if I look through it all I'll be totally confused. Anyway....I know I write toooooooooo much for just one simply little question but I need to be sure.

Not exactly.

There is some free software here that is linked to, or downloadable, but it's more like "helper" programs, mainly to be used WITH an actual editing program, to help you do stuff like get good footage to use, or convert files in some way.

It's technically possible to make an AMV using Virtual Dub, but I wouldn't suggest you try it.

If you have WinXP, it comes with Windows Movie Maker, and recent Macs come with imovie.

If you have an older version of windows, do a lot of reading around these "video" boards, and you'll get some idea of what's available, at what price, and how it's done.

RPMs? Who uses those? Real men build from sources

(well, actually, I changed a few dozen lines of code in my copy of the Cinelerra source tree and horrendously destablized the compositor component, thus forcing me to use RPMs, but meh...)
