Help on the Local downloads

hey there peeps!Anywho i just had a question, when i try to download a local download video that is .wmv format it opens my windos media player. Does anyone one how to bypass that, cause i have been trying to d/l the vids but cant cause the player opens up. so if anyone can help i'd appreciate it. Thanks a bunch!

Umm right click and "Save target as"
although that might not work since the link redirects you to another page
It's the best I can come up with due to lack of sleep

If nothing works, let windows media player download the video and in the "file" menu, click on "save as" (once it's been downloaded)

At some point in the past you would have seen a popup window when opening a WMV file and you must have clicked "Always use this program to open this file", so now it never bothers to ask you.

Check your browsers helper applications and either change or remove the helper for WMV. Then next time you open a WMV you should receive the prompt again, and this time you can select "Save as…"
