PS 2.5 = PSX

Random trivia: I think "PSX" (as in the old one) is just a slang term based on the in-development name of the console (the way Gamecube was once called Dolphin). The company tends to call it Playstation or PSone, I think.

So.

um well sony is actually going to release the PS2 for cheaper soon. The found a way to combine a few chips to make it cheaper. Its even gonna come with a remote that turns the console on/off and resets it.

Most of the stores already reduced the price for a PS2 to $180. I don't think it will get any cheaper until the PSX (the new one) comes out. Also, thanks to EarthCurrent for answering my question. So, I'm going to need around $100 to play FFXI all together. I'm only really going to buy it for FFXI. I love FF.. :P

Oh, of course it won't drop very much very soon. I don't mind that, I was just kidding/mock-whining.

Heck, I didn't get a Playstation (the first one) till 1999, and it had been out for YEARS then.

Still have a stack of PS games I haven't played, and I'm getting one of the new GBA's for my birthday, so that'll more than hold.
