I'd love to have any of ashyukun's furniture - I'm using a camping chair and a TV stand right now for my system...the local church's rummage sale was rained out and I can't afford to go anywhere else to look for real furniture!

The chair is niiice. It was my birthday present from my in-laws... mainly because my wife complained that my old chair squeeked all the time and annoyed her a lot. :P The desk was a splurge when we moved in... my original computer desk was pushing 10 years old, and have been moved at least 10 times since getting it, and the keyboard tray was shot. My wife now uses it to scrapbook on, and I got the new desk from Office Depot (I think it was) on sale. It's also very nice... I love having the central nook for the CPU. You can't see it in the picture very well, but the TV is sitting on a scratch-built stand I put together from MDF to hold it and the VCR below it, and when I got the 2nd monitor I put a longer top on it to hold the secondary display. I really like the setup as it is.... Unfortunately it takes up a lot of space, and if we move into the city it may not fit very well into an apartment. :(

i rearranged every thing in my room .. so i got all these pictures of my room that i won't be able to post till exams are done ... which is when i get my computer back ... but Ashyukun, i'd rather have a cloth chair .. atleast if i sit down wearing shorts i don't have to peel my legs off it.

It's a nice soft, supple leather- it's been fairly warm the last few days and I've not had any problems with wearing shorts and sitting in it. I like my chair. 8)

Adapter? Are you talking about the Fujitsu DSL modem on the wire rack (it's grey and on top of a hard drive enclosure)? The rest of that stuff ain't cheap (How I wish it was...). Maybe you're confusing the KVM by the monitor with this adapter.
Ja, the Fujitsu DSL "modem".
I'm out...

I have that exact same chair. I bet the in-laws got it when Office Max was doing their $50 dollar chair sale. That was definitely the best one. Kudos for the in-laws.

Quite possibly so- though I for some reason thought it was a bit more expensive than that. Not that I care- I've had it nearly 3 months now and it's held up wonderfully, they could have bought it at a garage sale (well, not likely to find one in the box, unassembled, but) and I'd still be quite delighted with it. :)

My in-laws are great. I've taught them well in the ways of bargain hunting online...
