Shut off effect

is there an Effect that i could use that makes the amv look like a tv shuting off?

Like in 1:46 in the Kevin Caldwell - Engel amv??

anyone, anyone,? i need to find a way to use somethin like that for the end of my next amv =\

so can someone help me out here? v_v;

I don't think there is an effect. That scene in Engel was actual footage from Eva itself I believe.

You can do it manually. My examples suck, but that's because I didn't spend much time on them -- I hastily did them about 5 minutes ago with Photoshop. If you actually spend time on it you can do a lot better

klinky, you seem to be doing an excellent job with these guides of yours. Any plans to put up an index page to the lot of them anytime soon, or am I only imagining that you have others?

PS: you can also use a little lens flare right in the middle of the the screen at the end of/after the transform klinky linked you to.
