Richest States/Counties: You Pick

I was just wondering what people generally thought. So far from the stats I've picked up. Alaska and Maryland come in at the 1st and 2nd spots for richest states (by rich I mean income). County goes to Fairfax County in VA. And in forbes magazine Jupiter, Florida has the richest neighborhood.

I wasn't trying to figure out countries, too many. All I know for countries is the US is most powerful country in the world.

i live in maryland your stats say where the income is from? i would agree with fairfax being loaded its very nice there.

No they don't give specific areas for Maryland, but it's not hard to pick out where the jobs for the incomes are from: rockville, silverspring, alot of the military all over Maryland, around baltimore, definitely annapolis.

Depends on what you are going by. America has the biggest GNP, but not the best GNA.

California has the largest ecomeny in the state, that does not mean it is the most healthy.

california may have a pretty hi income there but when you factor in the cost of living there you dont have that much. For exmaple the career I going to be going into California pay on average 5-10 grand more a year followed my for exmple houston (where I live now) but when you farctor in the cost of living in Californai campared to houston houston will come out on top because in the end I would have a larger house better cars and more money to spend on other stuff because it cost a lot less here
