help I have no idea what I am doing
I was thinking of buying a dvd anime box set for anime music video making but I have no idea how to get the clips on to my pc I have like 55 gig free space and running a windows XP. So, I was wondering what
program(s) will I need to get the clips on my comp in good resolution and not too small.(sorry if I spelled anything wrong it's summer here)

SmartRipper
MPEG Mediator
VirtualDub
TMPGenc
Adobe Premiere
AVISynth
