Sheesh, everyone plays guitar! Well, they're "guitarists".
I've been playing for 7 years.

That's utter bullshit. I know I'm good, but I'm alawys looking for ways to improve my skills. I'm happy with the way I play because I'm better than most "guitarist". I know I have dedication.i've been a guitarist for a year and a half roughly.
I know i suck, this is inspiration, if you are ever happy with how well you play, you will forever be playing blink 182 songs and telling everyone that you're so sad because your girlfriend left you. If you are ever happy with how well you play, then you will never get better.

I have a guitar and I dust it off every couple of months so that I can get the false hope that I'll ever get it tuned. Even when I *think* it's tuned I am never sure and never actually try to follow any books or guides because I keep thinking I have it tuned wrong, which I probably do.
I just do stuff that annoys me.
