Welllll yes and no.

While Jet Set Radio 'Future' was indeed the sequel in all places JP/UK/US for the Xbox, the Dreamcast game underwent some name changes for different releases.

JP Release - Jet Set Radio
US Release - Jet Grind Radio (with the added grind city locations, rob zombie - mixmaster mike music)
UK/PAL - Jet Set Radio (with grind city, but really stupid music, no RZ or mixmaster)
JP Release 2 - De La Jet Set Radio (Basically the US version only with Japanese text, Grind City and RZ and Mixmaster music)

IMO, JSR/JGR is the only DC game that is compulsory to own. It's that damned good. Maybe Ikaruga too.

Yeah, they called it Jet Set Radio all the way up to 2 weeks before it's released, then they changed the name to Jet Grind Radio. They thought the name should have more to do with Roller Blading or something. They did all this Hype for Jet SET Radio, then changed the name... That's just bad marketing in my humble opinion.

Evolution: World of the Sacred Device, is a fun game. Short but fun game. And fairly cheap. I haven't played the second one but the first one was good.

Heh, well I already have Jet Grind Radio, mostly cus I played Jet Set Radio Future at a friend house and liked it muchly. I'm kinda at teh point after you get Combo and Cube...

Ahem, but on to other subjects besides my lacking of mad skillz... Thanks for the recomendations everyone I'll be sure to check them out when I have some cash. It's kinda nice actualy, when I was in the store picking out my first three games (Jet Grind Radio, Sonic Adventure and ~shudder~ Carrier) none of teh games were more then like, fifteen dollars, so even I can afford them! I think I'll get Sonic Adventure 2 for the GameCube rather then the Dreamcast though, just becuse I already have a Chao file on my GC from renting the game a while back.

Although... I must add in retrospect that playing a Sonic game on a Nintendo system feels very, very strange.

Might be a bit late, but my favorite DC games are:

1. Soul Calibur
2. Dead or Alive 2 (Try to get the Japanese version, more costumes/whatnot)
3. Tokyo Xtreme Racer 2 (in my opinion, the finest racing game ever. And I rarely like Racing Games)

There´s also the Resident Evil games, Sonic, and quite a few other good ones...
I like bugging people. Deal with it.
