You have AOL which acts as a web brower + messenging + email + some other stupid bullshit in one mdi form. Then you have AIM which is basically just aol's messenging service sans aol. Then you have deadaim which is AIM + some awesomely handy features such as little boxes in the corner when people sign on or come back etc and IM logging. I have all 3 :\
Basically, I'm stuck with AOL because my mom is a stupid bitch, but we have the high speed version. You still have to log on to access the internet so I just sign onto aol, minimize it, startup deadaim and IE and treat aol as it is - my background internet connection. It's faggotry as a web browser and stuff :/
