Well since mostly only AMV creators gather at the con on Thursday night, Dinner at the place close by is not that bad. Same thing with Sunday night for all those leaving Monday. I went with a gruop on both days and it wasn't that busy. When the con starts, it gets very busy, but then everyone is buys at the VAT track or talking. Last year a small group of us ordered pizza during the con. The there are also AMV parties to go to as well, so there are lots of activities so going out to eat isn't as important during the con as long as everyone eats something.....

BTW, for all those who are involved in the DDR2 project, please e-mail me so I can get a final list together for who will be there so I can get a short intor to everyone's video for the DDR2 documentary. Unlike last year's that was rushed at the last minute, this years will be much more fast pased and made to go along with the project....

Place close by? Nooooo, not Ruby Tuesdays again! I think I ate there 4 or 5 times last year.

Or are you talking about the hotel restaurant? That one wasn't so bad but it was a bit pricey. But then again, it IS a hotel restaurant...

I'll be headed down to AWA this year (it'll be my first one! I'm so looking forward to it, like crazy!) with Mike (VegettoEX). I (we) also sent in a video to the pro contest (I ain't saying what it is, though, since we vote for the videos in secret! Duh!). For shits and giggles, I'll send two of my older videos to the exhibition, since they just play videos all day (I think?).

There's still so many people I haven't met yet that I'm looking forward to seeing there. Shock, intimidation time! Hopefully they'll be more fellow chicks at this con (in terms of AMV stuffage) than at other ones (not that I mindbeing surrounded by men all the time, muwahahaha!). :p

I'm going, but due to the lack of decently powerful computer (given that its more than two weeks late now... damn you IBM), I haven't been able to send anything new into the Pros or Dance competitions. Given that if it were to get here right now, I would have to make a Masters entry and have it in within a week. This is not happening. So I'll probrably just send 2 or 3 things to the Exhibition and have them not get seen unless the fates intervene and make them win. Regardless, I'll be there.

You bought an IBM? Oh, man... I'm so sorry.

Have you ever seen the AWA Bad Boys video? It's just like that.

So avoid taking the elevators!

Unless you're into that sort of thing, of course. :D
