Bad Pop-ups...

i dont know if any of you have the same problem i have. but does anyone get these annoying pop-ups on yer computer and its titled something like "messenger service" and it tells you to buy pop-up stoppers for like 100 dollars. does anyone know how to get rid of it?

What I do: close them down...

Or go on Kazaa or somewhere and get a program then find a serial for it, best way to go if you're not like me...

well closing the window doesnt exceed my abilities. but im talking about, where on your computer is this stupid lil program or script running so i can nuke the hell outta it. i dont want some program to stop the pop ups.... waste

You dont need a program to stop them. You have to go into Controll Panels/Administrator Tools/Services and turn off Messanger.

get something like adware. That would remove part of the pop ups. When I ran it the first time it reduced a lot of the pop ups on my computer
