The Perfect Music

You know any really good bands for AMVs? I mean the band doesn't have to be your fav one it just has to be perfect-for-AMVs.

I.e. : Stabbing Westward. They have some different type of songs, it's cool, not stupid, ...
Another one is Linkin Park but now we're almost forced to avoid this band, especially with DBZ footage...
I think Katatonia AMVs could be great too but I've never seen any...
Anyway Nine Inch Nails is the best one (also the hardest one) but you already know it, don't you?

Another cool things with these bands is that ALL their songs are good (except for Stabbing's last album).

Now you know any others?

I alway thought an Eva AMV using Pink Floyd's entire album Dark Side of the Moon would be totally incredible... but since I have no video editing software or hardware... thats most likely never going to made... hell even if I had the equipment I'm too lazy and probably wouldn't do it anyway. feh.

oooo....gambitt's Pink Floyd video is awesome! One of my favorites.

Green Day is another good band for AMVs, espacially on the albums Dookie and Nimrod. I can think of an AMV for every song on those.

In Gambitt's vid, does anyone else remember a scene in the train yard at night in EoE? He used two different scenes like that, but they both seemed totally unfamiliar to me. Maybe I'm just losing my mind... maybe it's because I just woke up....

I presume you mean the trainyard scene with Asuka.

It's actually from the directors cut version of episode 22... and it rules.

Kevin Caldwell also used a clip from that scene in Engel as it was on the laserdisc release too.
