Is Giant Robo released on DVD?

Best Prices only shows the VHS (I prefer to avoid VHS), Planet Anime has nothing, DVD Price Search shows nothng. I ran a Google search and found stuff like this, which looks like a bootleg. I don't want a bootleg, I want the real thing.

Is it on DVD and just hard to find legitimately, or is it VHS or nothing? Thanks.

As far as I know, there is no Region 1 DVD release of Giant Robo. I remember Manga announcing a while back that they were going to release it 1st quarter of 2000, but they just kept pushing the dates further and further back. The last I heard, it was supposed to be released 4th quarter of 2002, but those days have come and past and I haven't heard anything else about it.

I checked BestPrices.com, and came up with 11 hits. Nine were for Giant Robo VHS tapes, and two were for The Princess Bride
