I find that Blockbuster is very stereo-typical (Or at least that's what it seems to me) on anime. EVERY SINGLE Anime VHS they have has one of those "Parental Guidance" stickers on it. They seem to have eased up on the DVD's, and Pop session didn't get one, but they seem to have left it on the Censored version of DBZ... Kind of sad really.

now that is funny ... lol oh no he's smoking! MUST PROTECT THE CHILDREN! RATE IT R!!!1!!!! lol thats just sad ... at least your not getting a fuzzy blur over the cagarette ... But i do remember hearing about a website for seeing how they rate things ... the orginization is called the ESERB or something along those lines, and they have a site that has a rating rubric on it ... if i find it i'll post the url here.TallonKarrde23 wrote:well CB's being rated R i believe was due to the fact they smoke and its a new law....atleast in Cali, i dunno if its national, that if theres smoking its an automatic R rating. This is because when i went to the official site for it like a few weeks ago it said it was something lower, i dont remember exactly but it wasnt R. But whatever im probably wrong --;

wrong. Ever seen all the presidents men? PG movie with the F word going upwards of 20 times (I didn't even watch the whole thing, these were just the parts I saw!) And there are no guidelines for how movies are rated for those of you who don't know. They get a bunch of people togethre and have them vote a rating.UncleMilo wrote:Here's how much sense ratings make:
If you say the F word once, the move is PG-13
If you say the F word more than once the move is rated R.
If you say the F word once, but use it as a term connected with sex, then it's R.
So...
If you say... "What the f--- are you talking about." and it's the only time you use the word. It's PG-13
If you say "What the f--- are you talking about you f---er?" Then the movie is R.
If you say "I was talking about how I f---ed her last night" and it's the only time you use the word... it's still R.
Aren't ratings fun?

So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

oh and i think uncle milo was joking about the swearing being a dirrect influence on how the movie is rated. or at least the way he was saying it, it was.
