FLCL Domestic release end credits query
Ok, I was watching my Vols 1 and 2 of FLCL, and I noticed something during the end credits that I can't believe I didn't notice before (the only conceivable way I can think of that I could not noptice it is because I hadn't watched the end credits yet). Ride On Shooting Star seems to be missing it's acoustic guitar during the beginning segments and the similar sections in the middle. Does anyone else notice this? Does Synch Point know about it?

...Why did I say acoustic? It's obviously not an acoustic guitar...AbsoluteDestiny wrote:Ah... if you are referring to the lead guitar - it's on the left channel on the song.
Maybe you arent getting the left channel for some reason?
Well, at least you knew what I meant.

Left channel, eh? That would explain my problem. My little TV is mono, no stereo sound for me. So, it may be dropping the channel with the lead guitar on it.
...shit.
Thanks, AD.

Yes, it's on 3 discs. But, consider yourself lucky. If you check CDJapan, you'll see that the R2 release was/is 6 discs. One ep per disc. Extremely high-quality, I am sure, but only one ep all the same.skanks wrote:clarrife something,
is FLCL really on 3 discs?
its like 6 eps and i was going to buy it but the idea of those cheap bastard placing it on 3 dics rather neatly on 2 (even thought it could fit on 1) really pissed me off

But... I heard it with my own two ears.Chaos Angel wrote:There's an English track, a Japanese track, and a Japanese with Director's Commentary track, but no Dub It Yourself track.

...maybe I have a super special DVD
