It should have ended at 13 episodes. Money would have been better spent if they had taken the money used to make 25 episodes into 13. The cell count is so obsenely low that most of the action scenes are laughable, as the animators are regularly forced to use speed line backgrounds to create the illusion of movement.

The whole Takitori family plot was enjoyable once they got rolling into it, but after Takitori dies, the story looses itself in a muddle of the obscure "illuminati" cult trying to resurect its dark god or what not. By this time I had lost interest in the characters and the show.

IMO, of you merely want angst-ridden pretty boy anime, Kaikan Phrase is far superior to Weiss Kreuz.

Weiss Kreuz - Fangirl Fodder, poor plot, annoying enemy chars with the exception of Crawford. The first 8 or so eps weren't bad because they were independent stories not that important to afore mentioned crap plot.
