Whats the newest anime out?
Hello all, I'm wondering what the newest anime out is. The last I've heard is like Suikoden (however it is spelled) or Blood: The Last Vampire. Since then I've been wondering if the aime producing got slack or none have been released where I am. Cheers ^_^.

At AnimeNfo.com they have a spot on their main page for anime's for this year. Since the year is still new then those are probally the newest series coming out in japan.
At AnimeonDVD.com they have a spot to the right on their main page as well for early reviews. Those are soon to be released DVDs by the American companies.

Suikoden...that brings back memories ^^
To answer the question, yes, it is a PS RPG{And a kick ass one too!
} but it's also an anime. For those of you who've played the game, i recomend watching the anime, it may be a little out of whack with the game, but that's because they modernized it. ^^

I don't care what anyone thinks, Omni Yue from sprigan is the man! 8) X-1999 is pretty good too, although, after the movie of X came out, i was wondering what led up to the movie. Got my answers with that series.
Jin Roh is ok, although i didn't get to see the ending due to my cat Allen flaying the wires with his claws. Baaaad kitty.

(nod nod) It's unfortunate since the Suikoden Series (in particular II) is an amazing RPG series. I know I'll get flamed for this, but Suikoden II and Lunar II are FAR better than any Square RPG (IMHO). After playing that and Xenogears, I realized just how mediocre Square RPGs are and that their stories fall apart half-way through. Weird that I still like themI'm pretty sure Suikoden is a RPG video game series by Konami. Suikoden 3 is a good PS2 RPG. I'm sure it'll get overshadowed by Xenosaga, however. Xenosaga is a great interactive anime for the PS2. Maybe Square should just make anime from now on instead of video games.

I think that's the reason Square games lately are meh. The Final Fantasy VI team left (to I believe make...damn it forgot) and Xenogears team left to make Xenosaga. I think even the core Chrono Trigger team left (although the producer is still there). But wait! Xenosaga isn't Square!
Ok, well it's from a bunch of guys FROM Square... but don't forget they are NAMCO now.
